Become a member of Borders Farm!
Members meetings take place at 7pm on the first Monday of February, April, June, August, October (annual meeting and potluck), and December. Meetings are currently via Zoom.
Attend a members meeting and state your interest in joining Borders Farm—you will be voted in at the following members meeting.
Members who regularly attend meetings and volunteer at the Farm are considered “active” members. Active members are a vital part of Borders Farm, and receive a 15% discount on meat purchased at Borders Farm (pending availability, and does not apply to purchases at farmers’ markets).*
For questions on membership, please email bordersfarm@gmail.com.
*Please note that meat sales are an important part of the Farm’s revenue, and if supplies are low during peak farmers’ market season, full price will be charged at our discretion.
Volunteer at the Farm
Forestry and Trails—Borders Farm has several hiking trails open to the public which need frequent maintenance.
Community Garden—A large vegetable garden is planted and maintained by volunteers each year, with produce benefiting our local food banks.
Historic Farm Buildings—Volunteers are needed to help with ongoing projects such as painting and carpentry repairs to maintain Borders Farm’s historic buildings.
Collections—Borders Farm has an interesting collection reflecting the farming and personal lives of the Phillips family and their heirs, and the Borders family. Help is needed to document and preserve the collection.
Public Outreach—Members help develop and promote programming and events at Borders Farm.
